There is a lot of confusion when it comes to Christian sex. What is allowed? What's the best way to please my Christian husband or Christian wife? Is too much sex bad or good?
So, let's crack what I call the Christian code regarding sex, and let's get down to what is really important when it comes to Christian intimacy:
1. Making love as often as possible.
For many Christian couples sex can be few and far between as far as frequency goes. There are a number of reasons for this.
Christians tend to have a lot of responsibilities. Beyond work schedules, there are church events, family, school functions, not to mention weekly mass. Many Christians are active in other areas as well be it fitness, city councils, or other hobbies.
It can be the natural way of things to get caught up in life's activities and by the time bedtime comes around, Christian couples can be much too exhausted for love making.
It's crucial that Christian couples MAKE the time for making love. Sex is a wonderful, beautiful gift from God and should be experienced to the fullest, as often as is comfortable for each.
Make it a point to have sex as often as possible. Schedule vacations, or just simple one or two night getaways.
2. Abide by safety and comfort concerns.
Now we get into the "nitty gritty". What are the actual rules of Christian sex? Is this position allowed? Is that lovemaking technique allowed?
There are all kinds of opinions regarding what is and what isn't allowed in Christian sex. You can research these opinions and come to conclusions together, but really you only have to concern yourselves with two issues: safety and comfort.
Is the lovemaking position or technique safe? That is, does it cause harm or the great potential for harm? If so you should not practice it.
Are you both comfortable with your techniques or positions employed during lovemaking? It may be safe, but if the comfort level is not adequate then you should cease performing the particular position or technique.
3. Explore and expand your lovemaking.
It is up to both of you to appreciate the act of sex and take pride in art of lovemaking. This means learning as much as you can. Different positions, techniques, and pleasuring methods which are safe and comfortable to perform.
This will allow your sex life to never become stale, stagnant or boring. Sex is a celebration between the union of the two of you.
You would never throw the same exact party multiple times right? Neither should you practice the art of lovemaking in the same manner over and over. Mix things up. Learn new things and enjoy sex to the fullest.
